Harambee stars hopes of qualifying for Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) have been cut short after losing 1-0 to Guinea Bissau yesterday at Nyayo National Stadium.

Casemiro netted the first and the only goal for the visitors which was subject to the protest by both the Kenyan players and fans. As a result of the protest, the referee was forced to temporarily suspend the match up to half an hour until the situation was under control.

The protest was as a result of the decision by the referee to award the controversial goal despite Origi seemingly clearing it.
