Garry Neville at Mestalla Stadium |
Former Manchester United Captain, Garry Neville who was appointed as Valencia head coach nearly four months ago has
been today sacked by the club after a string of poor performance.
A statement from the club’s website
read; "Valencia Football Club have today parted company with Gary Neville
as Head Coach,"
The
club decided to terminate Neville’s contract after a careful consideration of
the last couple of performances which forced a change on the management.
Pako Ayestaran, who previously
served as an assistant coach under Rafael Benitez at Valencia has been
appointed as a temporary replacement for Neville who will serve in the position
for the remainder of the season.
