Christiano Ronaldo netted the winner as 10-man Real Madrid came from behind to end Barcelona’s 39-game unbeaten run at Camp Nou on Saturday.

Despite dominating possession, Barcelona couldn’t score inside the first half. Gerard Pique opened the scoring in the 56th minute at second half which saw Karim Benzema equalizing six minutes later. Christiano Ronaldo slotted the winner in the 85th minute, moments after Madrid's Sergio Ramos had received a second booking.

Barcelona’s lead at the top of La Liga as a result has been reduced to six points, and the gap ahead of Real also went down to seven points with only seven games remaining.
